Tender Object 3
Tender Objects is a collection of cast glass lamps that live at the edge of sculpture, light, and story. Formed from fire and fragility, these works are soft vessels for light, quiet structures for feeling and playgrounds for exploration.
Their shapes are abstract yet familiar—like creatures you once dreamed of, or objects from a home you’ve never seen but somehow remember. Their surfaces hold the fingerprints of process: imperfect, textured, emotional. Each one is a small architecture of memory, fantasy, and presence.
Rooted in the language of the “Third Space,” Tender Objects draws from the experience of the in-between: the space between cultures, between object and image, between inner worlds and physical form. Inspired by the architecture of dreams, memory palaces, and absurd domesticity, these works explore what it means to build safety through material.
They invite the viewer not just to observe, but to enter—like a child stepping into an invented game on a playground. These forms ask: What if light could be held softly? What if design could be both useful and felt? What if feelings looked absurd—and beautiful?
One-off.
